Services - Niwaki, maples and conifers.
Three focused areas: Niwaki shaping, Japanese maples (Acer palmatum) and pine/conifer shaping (Pinus, Taxus, Juniperus). Larger trees by arrangement.
German and botanical names.
I use German names together with botanical names so diagnosis, offer and care plan stay precise.
| German name | Botanical name | English / practical context |
|---|---|---|
| Japanischer Ahorn / Fächerahorn | Acer palmatum | Japanese maple: Fine crown care, light, deadwood and leaf health. |
| Schlitzahorn | Acer palmatum Dissectum-Gruppe | dissected Japanese maple: Very fine shoots, sensitive silhouette and careful hand work. |
| Waldkiefer | Pinus sylvestris | Scots pine: Shaping, crown opening and long-term cloud structure. |
| Bergkiefer | Pinus mugo | mountain pine: Compact growth, often suitable for calm niwaki care. |
| Japanische Schwarzkiefer | Pinus thunbergii | Japanese black pine: Candles, needle care and very deliberate timing. |
| Mädchen-Kiefer / Japanische Weisskiefer | Pinus parviflora | Japanese white pine: Fine needles, elegant silhouette and sensitive correction. |
| Japanische Rotkiefer | Pinus densiflora | Japanese red pine: Calm line work and selective shoot care. |
| Weymouth-Kiefer | Pinus strobus | eastern white pine: Softer growth, needs careful shape and health diagnosis. |
| Europäische Eibe | Taxus baccata | European yew: Holds shape well, but should not be treated as a hard wall. |
| Wacholder | Juniperus | juniper: Structure, light and dry inner areas need close checking. |
| Tanne | Abies | fir: Cut only with respect for species, new growth and old wood. |
| Fichte | Picea | spruce: Dense crowns, needle loss and moisture need early interpretation. |
Niwaki (garden bonsai)
Care and shaping of garden trees, not pot bonsai. Common species include pine (Pinus), yew (Taxus baccata) and juniper (Juniperus). The goal is not a green wall, but a crown with space for light, air and long-term structure.

Japanese maples - Acer palmatum
Japanese maple and dissected maple forms need seasonal shaping, deadwood removal inside the crown, careful hand work against moss and fungal pressure, and architectural crown care before density becomes a visible problem.

Conifers - especially pine (Pinus)
Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris), mountain pine (Pinus mugo), Japanese black pine (Pinus thunbergii), Japanese white pine (Pinus parviflora), Japanese red pine (Pinus densiflora), eastern white pine (Pinus strobus), yew (Taxus baccata), juniper (Juniperus), fir (Abies) and spruce (Picea). I cut selectively by hand, preserving future buds, light and air.

This is not ordinary garden maintenance, lawn work or fast hedge trimming. I work with trees where form, health and the next years matter.
Why Japanese scissors change the result ->Turn an ordinary tree into a remarkable garden form.
Send three photos. I will assess which artistic tree shaping, crown-structure correction or care sequence fits your tree - no quick cuts and no false promises.
